The Journey...

From the moment you felt that something was not quite right to the instant when your concerns were confirmed—your child was diagnosed with a developmental disability—you experienced a million different emotions and perhaps felt overwhelmed or determined. For some peple, you initially reacted emotionally and then you went into action. You did your own research—read books and searched the internet, contacted various experts (pediatricians, psychologists, speech paths, behavior analysts, gastrointestinal doctors, neuropaths, nutritionists, occupational therapist, physical therapist, etc.) , and read up on all the various treatments, with the intent of finding the best approach for your child…

While doing your research you came across Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and discovered that children with Autism and other related disorders have achieved great success using ABA-based techniques and strategies. You made some decisions and your journey began…

What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an applied natural science which focuses on the development of goals and application of procedures for effective and beneficial behavior change.
